Santana goes to Mets

Johan Santana and the Mets agreed to a $137.5 million dollar contract extension for 6 years on Friday. This was needed to finalize the trade deal with Minnesota. This is also a record for a pitcher. The trade was that the Mets get Santana, and give up 4 prospects to the Twins

Wow, that is so much money! Its crazy how our society gives more money to athletes than doctors and such. Pretty sad.

yeah it is a lot of money. that's just how it works i guess. MLB makes a lot of money
